A crack smell has been appearing among Bodoland People Front (BPF) leaders and following No.5 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat where BPF declared Chandan Brahma, sitting Transport minister in Assam Government as party candidate on March 24 at a public meeting held in Kokrajhar . The BPF has been finding hard to decide for contest in No.5 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat in this term after BPF senior leader and MP Sansuma Khungur Bwiswmuthiary decided to contest in forthcoming general election as Independent from Kokrajhar constituency. After rejected as BPF candidate Bwiswmuthiary termed it a family conspiracy against him. He said party president Hagrama Mohilary making the party as one man-party and a murder of democracy which is unacceptable to the people. He said he had been working for the interest of people of Bodoland and raising issues, including on Bodoland on the floor of Parliament. He question on the commitment of Mohilary on the demand of Bodoland state. Bwiswmuthiary said he had the support of over 5 lakhs people and would discuss with his supporter on whether he should contest as independent.

The Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary said that the party decision is the final decision so without party decision any one cannot be run alone so this unfortunate. Party decision is on street way in this period. Daimary also clarified that the candidate has changed for some allegation among in BPF party in the field of development.

Pramila Rani Brahma,MLA and vice president of the party said that the parliamentary election was becoming BPF very difficult for party to win so the party president Hagrama Mohilary selected Chandan Brahma as MP candidate from Kokrajhar and this selection is satisfactory for every common people in the constituency.

She also said that sitting MP Sansuma Khungur Bwiswmathiary contesting as Independent candidate would not hurt the BPF party because common people are aware about the candidate.

On the other hand, Brahma is the street in her way for Cabinet Minister after the MP election, she informs to reporters.
