Amid non cooperation in poll campaign by a section of party legislators, Lakhimpur Congress candidate Ranee Narah has arrived in New Delhi on Sunday.
The Union minister is believed to have been preparing to apprise the party high command of the growing dissidence against her in the run up to the Lok sabha polls.
Notably, a section of party legislators have been shying away from campaigning for the Lakhimpur’s sitting MP alleging that they were not satisfied with her.
Tezpur Congress candidate Bhupen Bora has also arrived in New Delhi on Sunday evening. Bora and Ranee Narah are believed to have been invited for discussion on poll prospect by the party high command.
