Phukan files nomination

Dibrugarh AGP candidate Anup Phukan field nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on Friday.

Accompanied by senior party leaders, Phukan field his papers before the returning officer at 12-30 in the afternoon.

Before that hundreds of his supporters took out a procession from his residence to the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Dibrugarh where he field his nomination papers before the returning officer.

The poll is slated for April 7.
