An uneasy calm prevails in Kokrajhar following the recovery of a body in Chechapani on Thursday.

Local residents spotted the body beside the railway track and informed it to police in the morning. The body with jeans pant, jacket was sent for post mortem. The legs bore cut marks. The youth was believed to have been thrown out of a moving trainin between Kokrajhar-Fakiragram station.
