AGP is likely to withdraw suspension against Padma Hazarika. But the partymen in Sootea have left it on the MLA.

Sources told Assam Times that the party, of late, has softened its stand on the party legislator a months after the leadership suspended Hazarika for refusing to toe on the party line in the Rajya Sabha polls.

The party’s steering committee will meet on Saturday at its headquarters in Ambari where the leadership is expected to take a final decision.

On the other hand, his supporters have left the entire issue only on him.
