Changsari child dead at last

A two year old child died on Wednesday two days after his father inflicted torture on him sending shockwaves across the state.

Identified as Ripunjay Nath, the child died early in the morning at GNRC where he has been battling for life after his father inflicted physical on him at a coconut three amid a quarrel with his wife in Changsari in the outskirt of Guwahati.

His mother is also undergoing treatment at the GNRC hospital.

The incident took place when the husband clashed with his wife and inflicted torture on the two year old where an irate mob burnt down his house.

A women neighbor also died when police resorted to firing to disperse the angry mob.
