BJP’s stock-taking meet

Central BJP leaders are on a day long visit to Guwahati to take stock of the poll preparations. Former party president M Venkaiah Naidu and SS Ahluwaliah held a close door meeting with senior state unit party leaders at the Hotel Rajmahal and discuss the state of poll preparations.

The meeting is further believed to have discussed the poll candidates in a number of seats. State unit president Sarbananda Sonowal along with the sitting MPs attended the meeting.
