Padma vs Prafullla

Yet another major setback for AGP. Padma Hazarika has filed a suit against AGP president Prafulla Kumar Mahanta challenging his suspension decision.

The legislator from Sootea on Monday moved the Gauhati High Court saying that his suspension is not valid and that his suspension could have been avoided.

Hazarika was suspended after he made a mistake in voting in the recent Rajya Sabha polls.
