Rocky refuses to contest

Forest minister Rockybul Hussian is averse to contest in the Lok Sabha polls from Dhubri constituency.

In a letter to the party high command on Friday, Hussian said that he is not interested to contest the Lok Sabha polls.

He sent his letter to the AICC after the election committee of the party shortlisted his name to contest the upcoming polls from Dhubri.

His letter, however, paved the way for Wazed Ali Chaudhury to contest from this AIUDF stronghold.
