BJP to finalise Assam candidates

BJP election committee meets in New Delhi on Saturday where the party is expected to finalise candidates for 14 seats in Assam.

Assam state unit president Sarbananda Sonowal has already submitted the applications of the ticket aspirants before the party high command.

Reliable sources told Assam Times that the party finds it difficult to finalise only 14 candidates out of 141 aspirants.

The state unit heavyweights met on Friday in Guwahati. But the meeting failed to prepare any panel of candidates and left it on the party high command.
