Ranjan Das elected TCUSU

Ranjan Das has been elected as Tezpur Central University Student Union general secretary in the first ever polls conducted by the varsity’s student body.Das defeated his nearest rival Arpana Sarma by a margin of 643 votes out of 1449 votes polled on March 4. Saurav Chakravarty has been elected assistant as general secretary in the recent election. Others elected uncontested.
