Tripura Municipal Elections On November 25
The Tripura State Election Commission has announced the election of 20 urban local bodies, including Agartala Municipal Corporation in all eight districts in the Tripura state on November 25 ,2021.
Addressing a press conference, Tripura State Election Commissioner ML Dey said that the counting will be held on November 28 and is scheduled to be held on November 25 from 7 am to 4 pm. Counting will be held on November 28, which will commence at 8 am,
He also said that the notification of the election will be issued on October 27. Submission of nomination papers will continue until November 3 and the date of scrutiny has been fixed on November 5. Withdrawal of nominations is from November 8 until 3 pm.
The entire election process is slated to end on December 4.

The state cabinet on Tuesday approved and accepted the recommendations of the three-member P.P.Verma committee on extending benefits of 7th central pay commission for state’s employees and pensioners. PRASENJIT SAHA AGARTALA: In a major setback for Left Front in the poll bound north eastern state of Tripura,veteran leader Ramendra Deb Verma, whom the party fielded in Charilam constituency, died a sudden death on Sunday. All party leaders and poll candidates rushed to his residence and paid their last respect to the veteran leader. Chief minister Manik Sarkar who visited the family members deeply condoled the death of the poll candidate.
