NCSC Guide Teacher's Training held

 

TANGLA: In a bid to equip teachers to guide students better for the Children Science Congress a day long Guide Teachers’ training programme was held at Maharishi Vidya Mandir,Tangla on Friday.Nearly 60 teachers participated in the workshop to get trained in guiding students on science projects.The session was organised by the Udalguri district, National Children's Science Congress(NCSC). District academic co-ordinator, NCSC, Deepa Sarma provided insights into the programme and how it equips teachers with the necessary skill and scientific aptitude to help students execute their science projects. Distr. Co-ordinator NCSC Udalguri,Gajendra Baruah; Vice-President District Organizing Committee, NCSC, Jhumar Bahadur Chetry; District academic chairman, Sanjib Sarma also spoke on the ocasion. The focal theme for NCSC 2018 is ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for a Clean, Green and Healthy nation.' Three ex-child scientists Nina Mahalia,Ishan Barua and Jugal Deka were also feted on the ocassion. Earlier the event was inaugurated by Deputy Inspector of schools, Bhergaon,Bwihithi Boro .
