Prime Minister Narendra Modi has, on Saturday, doled out land pattas to the 1 lakh families of the indigenous people of Assam. Addressing a massive rally at the historic Jerenga Pathar, the Prime Minister exhorted the people of Assam to do work for the uplift of the state. Meanwhile, the media department of the Assam state BJP has today achieved a milestone on social media. Informing this Devan Dhrubajyoti Maral, the convenor of the Assam BJP's state media cell said in a press release that its twitter account could draw more than 57 thousand tweets at the national level. “It is an achievement that our #AssamwithPMModi has garnered more than 57 thousand tweets at the national level, ” claimed Maral. The media cell leadership has thanked all the party workers for the achievement.
