Bhuyan: Cong-AIUDF grand alliance will win 88 seats

Rajya Sabha MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan, on Thursday claimed that the Congress-AIUDF grand alliance will win 88 seats in the upcoming Assam assembly elections.

Slamming the ruling BJP, the Rajya Sabha MP also said that the alliance will perform beyond its expectation. “We will able to win in 88 seats. The BJP will fall well short of its target of winning 100 seats,” Bhuyan added. A few days ago the Congress forged pre-poll alliance with five other parties including the Badaruddin Ajmal-led AIUDF.
