15 MLAs & Ministers have criminal cases

AtleastĀ  15 MLAs and Ministers in the current Assam assembly have criminal cases registered against them, said the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR).

As per reports, the ADR has analysed the affidavits filed by the MLAs ahead of the 2016 assembly elections and bye elections and revealed the sensational data.

The analysis further stated the cases registered against the elected representatives includes murder, theft, rioting, cheating among others. Most the cases are still pending, report said.
