13 Shops gutted in fire at Hojai.

Hojai:- Properties worth more than ₹ 30 lakh reduced to ashes when a devastating fire engulfed 13 shop near Abdul Hasib Higher Secondary School road Charali in Hojai.

As Per information, the incident took place early in the morning at around 3:30 am on Sunday. It is suspected that due short circuit this massive fire broke out.

It took several hours to extinguish the fire which already ravaged properties worth lakhs of rupees. Around 5 fire fighter's vehicle along with police force reached the spot. There is,however, no loss of human life. Further, investigation is going on.

Boy drowns

Body of 14 years old Sumit Baspor S/O Sambhu Baspor and resident of Harijan Colony rescued on Saturday Morning. As per information, Sumit got drowned in Dimru river in Hojai on Friday eevening, while he along with  three others  went for the immersion of the idol of Lord Ganesha. Twenty-year-old boy brutally murdered

In a sensational incident, one Ramanand Bora (20) was killed by his neighbour at Dakhin Bidyanagar in Hojai on Friday night. As per information, neighbour Deepak Rajkhowa repeatedly stabbed Ramanand with a sharp weapon.
