13 House gutted in fire at Hojai

Hojai:- Properties worth more than  10 lakh were reduced to ashes when a devastating fire engulfed 13 houses at Pachali in Hojai.

As Per information, the incident took place  at around 10:55 am on Monday.

It is suspected that due to short circuit this massive fire broke out.

According to the locals fire fighter reached the spot after 1 hour of the incident.

Notably, fire brigade department is nearly 2 Km away from the spot but this type of delay has raised serious concerns for the denizens of Hojai.

However, around five fire fighter from Hojai,Sankardev Nagar and Nilbagan reached the spot extinguished the fire and took the situation under control.

There is, no loss of, human life. Further investigation is going on.

Boy drowns

Body of 14 years old Sumit Baspor S/O Sambhu Baspor and resident of Harijan Colony rescued on Saturday Morning. Twenty-year-old boy brutally murdered

In a sensational incident, one Ramanand Bora (20) was killed by his neighbour at Dakhin Bidyanagar in Hojai on Friday night. As per information, neighbour Deepak Rajkhowa repeatedly stabbed Ramanand with a sharp weapon.
