VDP secy dies for heart stroke

A Village Defence Party (VDP) secretary for Kantalguri village and noted social worker under Fakiragram police station died for heart stroke late last evening in Kokrajhar district. 

The VDP personal was identified as Chakendra Basumatary, 50, was attacked by cardiac arrest late last evening around 6.30 pm and immediately rushed to Kokrajhar MRM hospital, but doctors declared brought dead. 

He was holding VDP secretary for Kantalguri village till his died. He was former village head man of Kantalguri village, besides associated with social activities in the region. 

Peoples from all walks of life paid floral tribute to Basumatary.

His body was cremated at Kantalguri crematorium ground after performing last ritual.
