Three 3 schemes on the cards to uplift health sector

The Assam government is gong to announce three ambitious schemes to uplift the state’s health sector. Talking to reporters on Wednesday in Guwahati, health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi will be inaugurate a Rs 100 crore scheme on January 12 , the Rs 100 crore scheme will be dedicated to modernize altogether 300 hospitals in tea garden areas. The focus will be to combat malaria like diseases in these tea garden areas.

He further said Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi will inaugurate yet another health scheme for the urban citizens on the same day. In addition, the government has another Rs 100 crore scheme for the char areas. According to the minister, the government has been utilizing cores of rupees to uplift the state's health sector but fifty per cent achievement has been made thereof.
