Teak logs seized in Kokrajhar

Despite tight vigil timber smuggling is going on in BTAD areas without any hindrance. Forest officials seized teak logs from a truck at Jharbari Sheleka bazar area in Kokrajhar district on Sunday.
Sources told Assam Times the logs worth Rs 5 lakh were intercepted from a loaded truck bearing registration number AS-18A-0056.
