Set up AIIMS in Golaghat: Gaurav

 Koliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi has demanded an All India Institute of Medical Science in Golaghat.

In his speech in the Lok Sabha on Monday, Gogoi said that the premier medical institute would be a major boost for the health sector in upper Assam along with the neighbouring north eastern states.

He further urged the ministry of external affairs to ban the manufacture of products made of rhino horn saying that to would help Assam discourage rhino poaching in Kaziranga. /
