Security alert on NDFB Martyrs’ Day

Security forces have been put on alert in BTAD, Barptea, Sonitpur, Darrang and Lakhimpur district in view of NDFB’s Martyrs’ Day which falls on Sunday.

Vital roads, bridges and major industries are heavily guarded fearing the attack of the militant outfit on Sunday.

A suspected NDFB-S militants exploded a powerful grenade on Saturday night at a tea garden office where a trader was killed and two others sustained injury a day before the Martyrs’ Day.
