Road blockade in Boko

Thousands of people in Boko have blocked the National Highway No 37 alleging the failure to nab Gopinath Das who allegedly raped his minor domestic help last month.

At 10 in the morning local residents in large number thronged the National Highway in front of the Boko police station and snubbed the policemen for failing to nab the local MLA.

They said that they won’t silent if the MLA is not arrested by the police even the Gauhati High Court rejected the anticipatory bail.
