Reshuffle on the cards

 Chief minister Tarun Gogoi is set to reshuffle his cabinet in a day or two.

Sources told Assam Times that Gogoi is ready to seek an appointment with Governor JB Patnaik for his consent to reshuffle his cabinet.

At least ten portfolios have been remaining idle after Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma resigned and Siddique Ahmed and Ardhendu Dey were axed.

 Transport department has been running without a minister to look into following Chanda Brahma’s resignation.
