Ravaging fire in Namrup

Namrup: Properties worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes when a ravaging fire broke out at a house in Namrup on Wednesday.

The incident took place near BVFCL Main Gate in the wee hours where the residence of Reshma Devi and Bali Mahato caught fire. The origin of the ravaging fire is not known.

 Local residents in large number came out to the spot and tried to bring the situation under control. But by then the entire house reduced to ashes. There is no report of casualty.
