Quest for peace

The Peace Channel organized a daylong program on partnerships for peace - dignity at Don Bosco Institute of Development and Leadership recently to commemorate its 10th foundation day. Rev. Varghese Alengaden, founder of universal solidarity movement Indore as the chief guest. In his speech, said peace comes from an agreement from one’s heart and encouraged the young people to stay committed towards peace building.

In the keynote address, Dr. Fr. Mathew Thuniampral exhorted the Peace Club members to be focused, to be watchful and become aware of oneself and live the life according to the awareness, reflection, action and evaluation. He encouraged the young Peace Club members to respect each individual and have the courage to stand for peace. Guest Speaker, Chingmei Konyak encouraged the young peace club members to believe in their dreams and follow it.
