Pramod Boro to take over as BTC chief

Guwahati: It's official. Pramod Boro will take over as chief of the Boroland Territorial Council (BTC). 

The formal announcement came after the UPPL head had a meeting with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence Hemanta Biswa Sarma, Ranjit Das,  Dilip Saikia and GSP chief Nabo Sarania who is MP of Kokrajhar. 

Boro, who prior to his stint as UPPL was ABSU chief will take oath. 

The formal announcement is a blow for Hagrama Mohilary who urged BJP to help BPF form the council saying that the alliance is still remaining intact.
