Political corruption in BJP!

Political corruption in BJP!

A string of unfair things seem to have surfaced in Assam BJP forcing a party leader to quit on Wednesday.

A day after disclosing his decision on his Facebook, Pradyut Bora on Wednesday has mentioned a few reasons behind his resignation.

The most striking reasons include political corruption in state BJP unit, ongoing process for Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into the party apart from State unit president Siddharth Bhattacharya’s “actions and utterances”.

These, he said, are apart from the unacceptable treatment for Assam in the distant Delhi and “subversion of the democratic tradition by the Modi-Shah duo.”

Bora, a prominent party leader in the national level observed “a gradual disillusionment--loss of faith--with the general drift of the Party at both the national and state levels.”

“I have decided to depart from the BJP before my spirit gets damaged a bit too much. I hope I would be able to continue to serve Mother Assam 'Axomi Aai' in whatever role/capacity that destiny has for me,” he wrote in his Facebook post just before tendering his resignation to the party bosses.
