Pillion riding banned in Barpeta

The district Magistrate of Barpeta Phanidhar Kalita by an order has promulgated section 144 crpc in the entire Barpeta town, Barpeta Road town, Pathsala Town and Howly town banning on moving two persons on two wheeler vehicles. However the ban will not be applicable for police personnel and govt officers having Identity Card. This ban was forced from Aug 3.
