People turn aggressive against Raiway authority in Nagaon

The people of Nagaon turns aggressive against the decision made by NF Railway to temporarily suspend the Haibargaon-Guwahati rail service. According to information , the Lumding division of NF Railways is actively considering to divert the running of Kalangpar Passenger train and Kapili Inter City from Hoiborgaon to Silghat via Senchowa junction and Nagaon rail station after discontinuing their services to Haiborgaon.

A railway official placed in Lumding division,when asked about the diversion of this two train services, told this correspondent over telephone that the two trains, one running in the morning and the other at noon in between Hoiborgaon and New Bongaigaon and Hoiborgaon and Guwahati have been earning a big amount of revenue since they are introduced to the commuters. He also reveals that the rush of passengers during morning is so heavy that it becomes difficult for commuters to find room inside the train.He even too feels astonished at the behaviour shown by the Lumding division towards the commuters in this regard.

The people of Nagaon question , when certain train services in Lumding division have failed to earn the expected revenue ,then what is the logic behind discontinuing lucrative train services in this section.They suggest that the Railways may consider suspending less earning trains in the Lumding division and put their services on Chaparmukh-Silghat line instead of diverting the route of Kalangpar Passenger and Kapili Intercity trains.
