AGARTALA: After interrogating for two hours at a police station in Agartala, the election observer asked Pallab Lochan Das to leave Tripura on Friday night. The power minister was caught in a remote area in Dhalai district in the poll bound north eastern state acting on the allegations of violating model code of conduct since he was allegedly distributing cash among the voters. He was caught by local people and Left activists with the car in which he was travelling with a fake pass shown to have been signed by Dhalai SP.
