One ULFA militant surrendered in Dhubri

A hardcore ULFA militant surrendered before the Additional S.P. Hitesh Roy in Dhubri police station on June 14. The police sources reveal that he is Ratul Ranjan Bhuyan alias Joydeep Roy alias John (32) and was a corporal of 709 Battalion of ULFA. He is the son of a forest department employee Late Ramanikanta Bhuyan and originally from Lahkarpara (in Gharapara) of Nalbari district. He deposited 2 nos. of detonator and 4 IED before the police.
