NRL pays Rs 22-cr dividend to State

Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) pays Rs 22.71 crore as dividend for the financial year 2006-07 to the Assam Government, as the promoter holding 12.35 per cent share in the company, an official release said.

According to information, NRL Managing Director BK Das formally handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi recently.

This year’s dividend is 31.65 per cent higher than previous year’s dividend of Rs 17.25 crore.
