Notorious drug mafia Pakhi Miyan escapes from judicial custody

In yet another major embarrassment for police, infamous drugs mafia Pakhi Miyan has escaped from the Guwahati Medical College Hospital at the dead of the night on Sunday where he was undergoing treatment citing some major health complaints after he was arrested a few months ago. He was captured by West Bengal police. Later he was rushed to Guwahati for probing some more cases pending against him including the murder of revenue intelligence officer Tarun Duta in Guwahati. Details are awaited.
