No maggi please

After weeks of will-it-won’t-it, the Assam government restricts sale of maggi from Thursday. The decision was finalized hours after the experts found the substance of lead and MSG in the Nestle product.

Health minister Dr Nazrul Islam who received the report from the laboratory has finally asked the authority to restrict sale and purchase of maggi. On Wednesday the health department collected the maggi samples and conducted test at the laboratory where the inadmissible substances surfaced.

 Chief minister Tarun Gogoi asked the health department to submit a report by Thursday to clear its stand on the maggi controversy.
