No decision yet on Khagen memorial

The Assam government is yet to decide on the permanent memorial in the name of Khagen Mahanta.

Talking to reporters in the sidelines of the funeral function on Friday evening, chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that the decision would be taken due course of time.

“The decision would be taken after proper consultation with all sections of the people. I do hope that the people will help us,” said the chief minister.
