Ninth anniversary of the Krishnaguru Sakha Sewashram, Gurgaon on November 4

The ninth anniversary of the Krishnaguru Sakha Sewashram, Gurgaon, is being celebrated on November 4 through a non-stop 12-hours Eknaam Kirtan for universal peace and harmony. By the desire of His Holiness Sri Sri Krishnaguru mahapravu, about 1000 devotees will conduct the Akhand Eknaam Kirtan that will start at 6 in the morning and go on till evening 6pm.

Eknaam Kirtan is integral to the Krishnaguru faith, the practical aspect of which is rooted in the oneness of God and community. This is manifest in it being an “Ek Naam” dharma, the essence of which lies in the meditation and chanting of the Holy Naam given by His Holiness Gurudeva. The Akhand Kirtan, also called “Palnaam” in Assamese, is an annual event to mark the foundation day of the Krishnaguru Sakha Sewashram in Gurgaon. The Sewashram was established in Bandhawari village in Gurgaon on the November 4, 2001.

An exhibition on the spiritual teachings of Sri Sri Krishanguru is being organized to mark the occasion. A tree plantation drive and a free health check-up camp will also be conducted during the day.
