NIA visits Lungsung, Ultapani

NIA Director General Sharad Kumar landed at Bismuri ground in a helicopter to take stock of the carnage of Adivasi area at Lungsung and Ultapani under Bismuri police out post in Kokrajhar district. on Thursday.

Kumar was accompanied by IGP(NIA) GP Singh reached at Bismuri at 11 AM and visited the Lungsung and Ultapani and took stock about carnage by NDFB(S) where NIA team have been investigating into carnage since last few days.Kumar also met affected families and shared grief of victimised.

The NIA are taking up two cases in connection with the December 23 carnage  in Kokrajhar(case number 557/2014 and 558/2014).
