Neutral forces feel the heat

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has blamed it all on the neutral central force deployed along the Assam-Nagaland border for the escalating tension.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, he said that he will write to the Centre alleging it with a complaint on the alleged inaction by a CRPF Commandant, who is said to be a Zemi Naga.

Gogoi said that these central forces have been failing to ensure peace in the violence-hit areas.

“That’s why, the violence took place and people died," Gogoi told reporters in Guwahati.
