NDFB-S rebel killed

A hardcore NDFB-S rebel died at an encounter with security forces in Sonitpur district on Monday. 

The encounter took place at Chariduwar area along the Assam-Arunachal pradesh border in the wee hour. 

Identified as Engrai the rebel succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. Army and police seized a bike, grenade and a pistol from his possession.
