Modi arriving today

Amid tight security, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Guwahati on Saturday on a two days north east visit.

Modi who is on a maiden visit to the region will land in Guwahati in the afternoon. Then he would open the railway service to Meghalaya at a function in Maligaon.

Then he would attend a valedictory function of the Assam Tribune at the Machkhowa. Then he would leave for the Raj Bhawan to spend the night.
