Manipur: bandh supporters burnt effigies of CM and Dy. CM

Protestor at Tamenglong district have burnt effigies of Manipur Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister during the 12-hour band called by three tribal students' organisations in the hills districts of Manipur on Monday.

The bandh was called to protest against the The Protection of Manipur Peoples Bill, 2015, The Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (Seventh Amendment) Bill, 2015, The Manipur Shop and Establishment (Second Amendment) Bill, 2015which were introduced in the special session of the Manipur Assembly.
