Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti top arrested with explosive

One Bishnujyoti Saikia, president of Karbi Anglong district Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) was arrested with 3 used Program Time Device (PTD) by the police personals of Raha Police Station at Raha, Nagaon district on 17th September as part of their routine checking on NH-37. According to the police sources, Saikia, an inhabitant of Langhin, Karbi Anglong district, has a close link with banned ULFA. The police also arrested Prashanta Mahanta of Lakhimpur district along with the former. The two persons were on their way from Guwahati to Nagaon with a Travera vehicle no AS-01 AC-5219 while arrested.
