KPLT Gen Secy, 4 others nabbed

 In a huge breakthrough, security forces claimed to have captured five top militants during a combing operation in Karbi Anglong district on Thursday.

These include general secretary of the Karbi Peoples Liberation Army who were arrested during a joint police and Army team from Krogaon in the morning.

According to police, identified as KPLT General Secretary Ranam Mirjang, the four militants were apprehended by a team of police and Army's Jat Regiment.  A huge quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
