Intercity stop at Sarupeta

Good news for people of Sarupeta. Courtesy the Northeast Frontier Railway.

From now and onwards, the Sarupeta station will be the regular stop for the Kamakhya-Alipurduar Intercity Express.

The decision was taken in view of the long standing demands of the local residents.

The Kamakhya bound intercity express reaches the station at around 9-26 in the morning while the Alipurduar bound intercity express arrived at 4-30 in the afternoon.
