I-Day to be celebrated at Guwahati Press Club

Journalists and patriotic citizens of Guwahati will celebrate India’s Independence Day (on August 15) at Guwahati Press Club with various programmes. Maintaining the tradition to defy the diktat of secessionist militants to observe both I-Day and Republic Day, the journalists will hoist the National flag at 11 am on the press club premises. They will also perform patriotic songs on the occasion.
