Gogoi to seek CBI probe into NC Hill scam

It's final. The Assam government will recommend CBI probe into the multi-crore scam that rocked NC Hill District 3 years back. This was confirmed by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi after his meeting with Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in Delhi. On the other hand, opposition AGP leaders and workers stage demo at the Jantar Mantar demanding action against the ministers involved in the multi-crore scam.
