Gogoi slams budget

Former chief minister and senior Congress legislator Tarun Gogoi slammed the state budget saying the budget is far from reality.

Talking to reporters after finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tabled the budget on Tuesday, Gogoi said the proposals don't match reality.

“Preparing a budget is not a hard task. The big question is its implementation. I don't think this government would be able to implement it,” said Gogoi.
