Gogoi meets Modi

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi raised a number of issues confronting the state as he met prime minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.  

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Gogoi said that Dr Manmohan Singh and his successor Modi are not comparable to each other.

He said that they were different persons and cannot be compared. Gogoi said, "I have to deal with a different regime."
